Vox Integra is delighted to announce the first of our courses for 2024 and invite you to join us for a Spring weekend celebration of English song in the glorious Hampshire countryside. 

 

The workshop will take place at Willowbank, a beautiful early 17 th century Manor House in historic Titchfield, two miles from the coast and yards from the Titchfield Haven Reserve.

 

The focus of the weekend will be any repertoire composed originally in the English language, any style , any period from Dowland to Dove, G and S to Gershwin.  

 

Participants will enjoy 1:1 sessions as well as group classes within a friendly enjoyable atmosphere for all.

 

Brian Parsons and Theresa Goble, both internationally renowned voice teachers, will curate the workshop.

 

The course will begin on the Friday evening with an informal soirée, followed by dinner in one of the local hostelries.
 

Saturday morning there will be individual classes followed by a light lunch.

There will be a break in the afternoon for participants to explore or rest.

Late afternoon everyone will gather for a song class where you’ll have a chance to perform a chosen piece.

 

Dinner will be at Willowbank, followed by another  soirée.
 

Sunday morning there will be more 1:1 and small group work, followed by a light lunch.

To round off the course there will be an informal presentation after lunch, audience members will be welcome.

Accommodation: The course is residential but rooms are limited, early booking is recommended.

 

Prices include breakfast and light lunch. Per person per night.

How to Get there

 

Fareham is the nearest railway station,1.8 miles.  there are 2 trains an hour from Waterloo.
