Vox Integra at Benslow
2nd - 4th July 2021
We are delighted to announce that to celebrate the lifting of lockdown and the chance this brings to return to live music, we will be holding our first face-to-face vocal weekend of 2021.

The course will take place at Benslow Music, Hitchen, Hertfordshire, from 4pm Friday 2nd until 5pm Sunday 4th July.
Benslow is the Hitchen based centre for short residential music courses, the site is centred round a large Victorian house, set in beautiful grounds, close to Hitchin town centre, within easy reach of the A1M and with frequent trains from London St.Pancras, Cambridge and Peterborough.

The idea of the weekend is devoted to the sheer joy of being able to sing together again!
Therefore we will not fixate on any one theme, participants will be encouraged to bring anything they would like to sing, in any language or style, be it song, opera or operetta.
Our tried and tested formula means participants will receive lots of individual attention and the chance to work with internationally renowned tutors.

Our team will include Robin Bowman, Brian Parsons and Theresa Goble.
​
Participants will receive tuition from all members of the team. Over the course of the weekend you will receive two individual voice sessions of 30 mins with Brian and Theresa and a coaching session with Robin.
​
Group sessions will include two masterclasses, a half hour warm up focusing on posture as well as an informal soirée on the Sunday afternoon for those who wish to perform.
Audience members will be welcome.
​
Participants may also be interested in a lunchtime lecture recital, featuring music by Robert Franz. Marc Verter a valued member of the Vox team is the accompanist for the event. For details on how to book, click HERE
Please note that in order to make the schedule for the weekend run smoothly, the informal concert will now be at 2.30 pm on Sunday 4th July in the Peter Morrison Hall at Benslow.
Participants are encouraged to invite friends and family. Entrance to concert will be £5, or if anyone would like to join for lunch beforehand, Lunch and concert will be £20. The Vox concert can be booked through Jessica Friend via voxintegracourses@gmail.com

PRICING
The weekend is residential, the course fee includes:
Standard single accommodation (with hand basin and shared bathroom facilities), tuition, use of relevant facilities and full board, including any hot beverages, biscuits and cakes which might be served at break times.
A small supplemental charge is payable for an en-suite room and for single occupancy of a double room. The cost also includes a practice room with piano per person! The food is excellent.

A non-refundable deposit of £100 is payable to secure your place (visit our shop) the remainder being due on Friday 4th June, one month before the workshop.
